Repeat the normal, special and dash attacks until their commitment and MP cost feel predictable.
Check the reward icon before entering. Anvil, Artifact, Tablet and healing choices solve different problems.
Stack effects that reinforce the same attack, element, summon or defensive loop.
Preserve dashes and enough MP to answer an unexpected elite or boss pattern.
Tower structure
Every floor begins in a safe room and branches through reward nodes before the boss. Later floors normally return you to a fixed store and training target before the next route.
Strengthens or transforms the current Weapon. A strong branch can define the rest of the run.

An individually strong Artifact can be the wrong pick when it breaks two adjacency bonuses. Before taking an item, inspect its maximum level, shape, activation condition and the empty slots it will consume.
Stay alive
Learn enemy tells before chasing damage, use terrain to separate groups, spend MP with an escape plan, and test unfamiliar upgrades on the training target. Secret walls are easier to inspect after the room is quiet.
