Magic build guide
Grimoires are magic-oriented build pieces that need a damage source, MP plan and supporting Combo. They are not automatically better than Weapon or Artifact damage just because they are rare.
Direct answer
Start with a way to deal magic or elemental damage, then use Grimoires and Academy-style support to scale the repeated cast. A current community discussion about Wizard Bunny shows that players may complete the requirement through Grimoire kills with Fire or Bolt magic; the conflicting reports are a reminder to verify the live Costume condition instead of copying one old answer.
Grimoires cost inventory space and often need MP recovery, Magic Haste, elemental Touch or repeated activation. If the board has no way to cast consistently, a direct Weapon route may be stronger.
Best fit
Unlocks
Community answers disagree between a Cold Damage condition and defeating 50 enemies with Grimoires. The current character roster and in-game Costume menu should be treated as authoritative; this page does not turn the disagreement into a false exact unlock rule.
Testing
Use the Training Grounds to record cast range, MP cost, activation count, elemental type and whether a Tablet or Touch effect triggers. Keep the exact Grimoire name and patch beside any build recommendation, because automated transcripts and older guides often render names inconsistently.
